I am Flawesome

Happy December everyone! Can you believe it’s almost Christmas. Well It’s about time. It’s been a very interesting year and I’m so thankful I’ve made it to the end. I’m definitely looking forward to more adventures next year.
Today I’m rocking this gorgeous number from Haniko London. It’s such a unique piece. It’s made from jacquard silk fabric which is from the 60’s. It also gives off the 80’s glamour streetwear vibe. You can rock this jacket from daytime to evening.
On a day where you don’t feel like doing the most, you can dress up your outfit with this stylish high neck jacket, as it is quite dressy. I styled mine with a pair of over the knee boots to add some edginess and a chain cross body bag, which I think is really pretty by the way.
It can be quite difficult finding a decent pair of over the knee boots that actually stay up but these ones from LOTD do the trick. Over the knee boots are bae and it’s definitely a trend that’s here to stay.
On that note, I’m finishing off with a brief personal story and word of encouragement, as I believe someone out there could learn a thing or two from it.

Just a week ago, I was at the hair dressers and the lady doing my hair asked me what had happened to my left hand and if the reason for it been that way was because of an accident. My response to that was that it’s been like that since birth. And she immediately said ‘’You’re a beautiful young lady and it doesn’t diminish your beauty in anyway. I love that you’re really embracing it and not hiding it in public and I admire you for that”.

So a word of encouragement today is to be you and do you. Kill that voice in your head that keeps telling you you’re worth nothing by constantly reminding yourself that you’re FLAWESOME, you’re BEAUTIFUL and you’re Enough. (Incase you don’t know what the word ‘Flawesome’ means, it simply means embracing your flaws, knowing they’re awesome regardless). Fully embrace who you are and never let anyone or anything make you think less of yourself. By doing this, your full identity can shine through and you can be an inspiration to others.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
