I want to take this time to welcome my lovely readers to the beautiful month of May. I happen to be born in May, which is why it is my favourite month of the year.
I also think it’s the prettiest time of the year because of the lovely colourful blooming flowers making it so beautiful. I love flowers and today’s outfit was inspired by the month of May.
Today I wore an Ankara puffy sleeved dress. You all know how much I love colour. Ankara fabric is probably the best way to incorporate some colour into your outfit. This gorgeous dress is so comfortable and the fit is perfect. Another thing I love about it is the puffy sleeves and off shoulder design that was created.
Today’s look led me to explore another area in Port harcourt called old GRA, which is referred to as the Old Government Reserved Area. This area was mainly occupied by European settlers during the colonial times, therefore it was once referred to as the European quarters. It’s such a cool area with lots of trees and flowers hence why I was drawn to it. As the government house is situated in this area, you tend to find a number of police driving by. However, they were surprisingly friendly and even asked to take a photo with me.
I definitely prefer this look for a day out. Although it would also look as great for an evening function. This is another number from my recent creations. I styled this look with a beaded clutch and a pair of gold low heeled sandals. I also accessorised with some gold and black earrings and a black DIY choker made by my cousin (she’s really good by the way).
