A Splash of White and Everything Nice

So Nigeria turned 56 on the 1st of October. Woop woop! Happy Independence to my fellow Nigerians out there 🙂 I guess you could say I got a little inspiration from my country flag, which happens to be green and white.

White is my happy colour and is definitely a great colour to make a dark coloured piece like this green jumpsuit pop. I love the simplicity of it and also found it to be very comfortable because of its stretchy jersey like material. Who says you can’t be comfortable and look stylish at the same time?

I always like a figure hugging outfit every now and then and find that a key to boosting up casual or simple basics is by combining them with posh or fancy looking pieces. Pair it up with a blazer or a suede or leather jacket with some pretty accessories and you’re good to go. The gold plated belt and gold sandals I matched it with, made it even more stylish and added some sophistication, however the white blazer and multi-coloured bag from Zara really brought this outfit together. It’s one of those jumpsuits you could choose to either dress down or add a little bit more to but I definitely like a little bit more.
