How to rock Palazzo pants

Palazzo pants

Hi lovelies, So I haven’t posted in a couple of weeks as I’m currently away in Nigeria and have been quite busy since I got here. I can definitely say it feels good to be home. It was also my sister’s traditional wedding a couple of weeks ago, which is why I’m here. It was beautiful and she looked so gorgeous and I’m looking forward to the white wedding in a couple of months. I love weddings!

It’s always sunny and ridiculously hot in Nigeria, so that means we get to wear light/summer clothes all year round.  Palazzo pants are perfect for daytime and one thing I’ve noticed about these pants are their tendency to make the legs appear longer. So if you’re on the small side like me, you can totally rock them and they’ll look just as great on you as they would on a taller person. It is important that you also get the length right, as you don’t want it to be too long or too short, otherwise you won’t get the look you’re going for

I absolutely love this number from pretty little thing and love that it’s got that 60’s retro vibe to it. Since the outfit is a co-ord with a button down shirt, it kind of makes it look like a jumpsuit when tucked in. They didn’t have them in a petite size, and was forced to get them in tall which turned out fine.

Although most of the outfit is from PrettyLittleThing, my floppy hat from H&M and beauty of a bag from Valentino really made this look complete. The hat totally adds that boho vibe to the outfit. I had some heels on from Kurt Geiger but they were completely covered by the pants. Another reason why I love palazzo wide pants is because they’re effortlessly stylish and comfortable to wear because of the loose fit. I also love that they are versatile, as you can wear them from day to night.

You could also style these pants by wearing them with a crop top or a bold graphic tee for a fun look. For slightly colder weather a cropped sweater would look great with them.
I’m always interested in knowing your thoughts, so feel free to drop a comment and I hope you all have a great week xx
